Conference Producers coordinate and manage all aspects of their events. This includes researching and creating new conference topics, writing agendas, recruiting speakers, and developing marketing and sales strategies for the events.

Location: Remote 80%, Travel 20%

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conduct and research potential attendees and sponsors in a target market to develop conference agendas.
  • Analyze research and use critical thinking to develop commercial conference programs that meet the stated needs of the market.
  • Identify, invite and confirm appropriate speakers for conferences.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key professionals, industry leaders, senior executives, and media within relevant vertical markets.
  • Attend and oversee virtual and live conferences, including providing an opening introduction, speaker assistance, and support.
  • Work with and support a cross-functional team on an ongoing basis to ensure successful marketing and sponsorship of conferences.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in conference production, with a proven track record of producing conferences that generate large revenue.
  • Proficiency in organizing events and managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and emerging trends in the conference industry.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills in an entrepreneurial setting, adept at inspiring and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results, while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
